GLP Attorneys is seeking a Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant to join our team in Bellingham. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of legal assistant or professional office work experience is required
  • Competence in Microsoft Office products
  • Preference is given to those with experience in plaintiff's personal injury
  • Self-motivated and enjoy multi-tasking
  • Team-focused and client-oriented
  • Ability to balance being detail-oriented with productivity and efficiency
  • Strong writing skills and familiarity with drafting correspondence
  • Comfortable with talking to healthcare providers and clients

Responsibilities

  • Set up new client files
  • Communicate with various parties
  • Manage medical bill payments
  • Address client queries
  • Conduct client reviews
  • Handle client correspondence
  • Manage case records
  • Assist in PIP claims
  • Ensure account balances are accurate
