About the position

JML Law, a well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm, is expanding its operations in Anaheim, California, and is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant/Paralegal specializing in Workers' Compensation. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $28, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in workers' compensation law and will be responsible for managing cases effectively while ensuring constant communication with clients, defense attorneys, and insurance adjusters. The role involves a variety of tasks including scheduling MPN medical appointments, coordinating AME/QME evaluations, filing DOR and objections, and e-filing applications for adjudication. Additionally, the Legal Assistant/Paralegal will prepare correspondence, requests for SDT, UR, and IMR, and will be responsible for preparing files for court hearings. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and is comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities

Requirements
