Guerrero Law Offices, a personal injury firm based in Trinity Groves, is seeking a proactive and driven Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 2-5 years of experience in a personal injury setting. The role involves providing support to attorneys and other legal staff across various practice areas, with a focus on effective time management and maintaining a positive attitude. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• File organization and management
• Calendaring and scheduling
• Transcribe and prepare drafts of legal documents
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars

Requirements

• Proven experience as a legal assistant or similar role
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
