Responsibilities

• Opening new client files and keeping files organized.
• Creating and consistently updating binders and indices of case information.
• Monitoring and updating calendars.
• Scheduling depositions and meetings.
• Communicating case progress with attorneys and clients.
• Preparing and filing court documents.
• Editing attorney documents.
• Tracking deadlines.
• Answering telephone calls and managing client inquiries.
• Organizing evidence and discovery.
• Assisting in the preparation of discovery responses.
• Communicating with advertising and social media partners.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of various areas of law, including family law and securities law.
• Experience with legal research and California pleading forms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and self-starter attitude.
