Horenstein, Nicholson & Blumenthal, LPA is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support the injury department, focusing on Ohio Workers' Compensation claims and personal injury cases. Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation and management for Ohio Workers' Compensation claims and personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence as needed.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases.

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate or in training to receive a paralegal degree.
• Basic knowledge of personal injury law and Ohio Workers' Compensation claims.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer skills, including familiarity with legal software.
