The Law Offices of Andriea A. Aden, Esq. Chtd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy family law firm located in Reno, NV. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will be a superstar who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Legal Assistant/Receptionist, your primary responsibilities will include answering phones, managing client communications, and providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. You will be responsible for filing and organizing legal documents, calendaring appointments, and handling payments. Additionally, you will enter data into client and billing software, track expenses, and assist with any other tasks necessary to best serve our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. This position is full-time, with expected hours of 40 per week, and operates Monday to Friday. You will be working in person at our office, contributing to a collaborative team environment where your efforts will directly impact the success of our firm and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and managing client communications.
  • Filing and organizing legal documents.
  • Assisting attorneys and paralegals as needed.
  • Calendaring appointments and managing schedules.
  • Handling payments and financial transactions.
  • Entering data into client and billing software.
  • Tracking expenses related to client cases.
  • Performing any other tasks necessary to best serve clients.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using office software and client billing systems.
