We are particularly interested in candidates for the roles of Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal, who possess a strong background in various areas of law including Probate, Family, Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Civil, Intellectual Property, Corporate, Criminal, Property, Immigration, Health, Litigation, Personal Injury, Employment, Tax, Financial, and Environmental law. As a Legal Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and managing calendars, drafting, editing, formatting, and finalizing legal documents, as well as organizing and tracking case materials. You will also be responsible for scheduling depositions, preparing for depositions, and requesting necessary documents from clients. Filing documents with courts, including e-filing, and entering billable time entries will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, scanning, answering phones, and managing office supplies. To succeed in this role, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with strong soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for self-starters who are organized, capable of multi-tasking, and can work effectively as part of a team.
