About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team. The successful candidate will assist attorneys with a variety of tasks, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting legal research, managing case files, and performing general administrative duties. This role is crucial in ensuring that the legal team operates efficiently and effectively, providing essential support in various legal matters. As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence. You will also organize and maintain case files, including both electronic and paper records, while tracking important deadlines to ensure compliance with legal procedures. Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law will be a key part of your role, assisting attorneys in preparing for cases and providing them with the necessary information to make informed decisions. In addition to these responsibilities, you will communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information and provide updates. Your role will also include performing general office duties, such as answering phones, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling mail. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
