About the position

As a Legal Assistant at Robert Half, you will play a crucial role in supporting legal professionals by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. Responsibilities

  • Transcribe legal documents and ensure their accuracy.
  • Schedule depositions in a timely manner and ensure all parties are informed.
  • Maintain an organized and updated case file system.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents as required.
  • Ensure all legal documents are properly filed with the court.
  • Communicate with clients and other legal professionals to schedule meetings and share information.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases.
  • Ensure all case-related information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and case summaries.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Worker's Compensation procedures and regulations, a major plus, but not necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
