Responsibilities

  • Review high-volume files to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Independently prepare a high volume of correspondence within assigned timeframes and consistent with PLA standards.
  • Understand and follow office policies to ensure compliance.
  • Establish a level of proficiency on client nuances.
  • Answer and return telephone calls from property owners, negotiate payment plan terms, and make recommendations for hardship consideration consistent with PLA standards.
  • Attend work regularly as attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited university, or 1-3 years of work experience in collections in the absence of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to learn Collection Partner (Hubbard).
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
  • Initiative, including strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining professional relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and personal integrity.
