We are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our team at ALWS Solutions in Bedminster, NJ. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for communicating with the law enforcement community regarding life-threatening situations, ensuring that all cases are correctly documented and managed in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures. This position demands a strong understanding of basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures, as well as the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure. The Legal Assistant will handle a variety of tasks including entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits, compiling and verifying the accuracy of information, and preparing source data for computer entry. Attention to detail is crucial, as the role involves reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output. The Legal Assistant will also resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team lead or supervisor for resolution. This position is full-time and requires a commitment to working as part of a team, demonstrating sound decision-making skills, and understanding when a matter needs to be escalated or referred to management to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
