This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage pre-litigation personal injury cases, ensuring effective communication with clients and accurate data management. Responsibilities

• Opening claims with insurance (auto and health) carriers to facilitate communication
• Establishing a caring and trusting rapport with clients to obtain information, treatment statuses, and answer questions
• Reading and analyzing medical records
• Understanding and handling the next step in the claims process with efficiency and proactiveness
• Verifying medical billing balances and liens
• Requesting reductions from medical providers where necessary
• Assembling medical bills, wage loss, and documentation for a demand package
• Managing client files including scanning necessary records, bills, and other related paperwork
• Formulating legal documents/demand letters
• Working closely with the Attorney, Paralegal, Legal Assistant
• Working closely with Settlement Disbursements

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Experience in case management, preferably as a personal injury case manager or related roles
• Computer proficiency with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentation
• Experience in legal research and legal document drafting
• Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated
