Vaco is collaborating with a prominent client in the Entertainment industry to find a qualified Legal Coordinator to support the office of the Chief Legal Officer. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes within the organization. The Legal Coordinator will be responsible for drafting and formatting legal correspondence, implementing legal procedures, and conducting legal research. This role is based in Century City and requires in-office presence four days a week. The position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with compensation ranging from $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include drafting, redlining, and editing highly confidential documents, liaising with multiple external legal counsels on active litigation cases, subpoenas, and contracts. The Legal Coordinator will also assist with legal research and analysis, create and implement legal procedures and processes, and manage the e-filing of a high volume of documents, including sending documents for e-signature as requested. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in Legal Coordination or as a Paralegal, with a strong background in the legal sector being highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a Paralegal Certification is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
