About the position

A national law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive Assistant to join their Fort Lauderdale team. This position is crucial as it provides high-level administrative support to the Managing Partner and senior staff members. The Legal Executive Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the Managing Partner's calendar, ensuring that all appointments and meetings are scheduled efficiently. Additionally, the assistant will prepare monthly expense reimbursements for the Managing Partner, which requires a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial documentation. In this role, the Legal Executive Assistant will also arrange travel and accommodations for the Managing Partner and other assigned leadership staff. This includes coordinating logistics for business trips, ensuring that all travel arrangements are seamless and meet the needs of the executives. The assistant will be the first point of contact for incoming communications or memos directed to the Managing Partner. This involves reviewing the contents of these communications, determining their importance, and summarizing or distributing the information to the appropriate staff as directed by the Managing Partner. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in administrative support, particularly within a legal environment. A high school diploma is required, while a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Candidates should possess at least five years of related experience, demonstrating their ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced legal office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn new or updated software as needed.
