About the position

The Legal Office Services Manager will oversee a team responsible for various office services within a prominent law firm in San Diego. This role involves managing mail handling, print jobs, and legal document management while liaising with different departments and vendors. The position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to inspire and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a team involved in office services including mail handling, large scale print and copy jobs, and document conversions
  • Manage large projects within a busy copy center environment
  • Serve as a liaison for different departments within the organization and the main point of contact for vendors and suppliers
  • Approve timesheets and attend meetings with different departments
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Assist with hands-on office services tasks
  • Help staff with technical aspects of office machines and problem-solving
  • Encourage and inspire staff to maintain a high level of performance
  • Ensure all office services are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Prior experience managing a team in a law firm
  • Willingness to jump in and help the team, not just manage it
  • Ability to commute to San Diego (near intersection of 5 / 805 freeway) daily
