About the position

The Operations Coordinator position at a global ride-hailing service is a contract role based in San Francisco, CA, for a duration of six months. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CLO Operations team, which is responsible for overseeing various operational aspects of legal billing and payment processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the efficiency of the legal operations within the organization. In this role, you will assist in managing the eBilling system, which includes tasks such as matter creation, provisioning user access, invoice review and processing, and managing timekeeper rates. You will also be responsible for responding to billing and payment inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a prompt and efficient manner. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, particularly in supporting the monthly accruals process. Additionally, you will assist with various projects and tasks as needed, ensuring that the operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will need to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently to meet deadlines and achieve objectives. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders and providing updates on project statuses. Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the eBilling system, including tasks such as matter creation, provisioning user access, invoice review and processing, and managing timekeeper rates.
  • Respond to billing and payment inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a prompt and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in legal billing within a law firm or corporate law department.
  • Experience with Simple or other e-Billing and payment systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced technical abilities (including Excel and MS Office Suite, GoogleSuite Apps).
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
