About the position

The Legal Operations Coordinator at City Electric Supply plays a crucial role in supporting the in-house legal team by providing administrative assistance and managing various legal projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both legal and non-legal staff. The coordinator will work closely with attorneys and other team members across multiple regions, ensuring the smooth operation of legal functions and contributing to the overall efficiency of the legal department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in administrative tasks such as document management, electronic filing, and scheduling to ensure the smooth functioning of the Legal team.
  • Support the Legal team in utilizing and maintaining legal technology and software solutions, including contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Handle data entry tasks and generate reports.
  • Lead internal legal projects and assist in business-facing legal projects by helping with tasks and ensuring timely progress.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team and non-legal staff to support their operational needs.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience working in the legal industry or supporting legal teams.
  • Experience in using software such as CLM platforms; Ironclad would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Some experience in change management, implementing changes within the legal team/business.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Knowledge in process mapping and designing legal workflows.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and software solutions.
