The Legal Operations Coordinator at Soltage plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the legal department by managing contract lifecycles, overseeing budgets, and facilitating communication across various departments. This position is integral to supporting the company's mission of transforming the energy economy through renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline processes within the legal department to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage contracts from proposal to execution.
  • Develop and support risk management initiatives in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist with formatting, redlining, and managing complex contract documents.
  • Oversee legal budgets, track spending, and handle invoicing with vendors.
  • Monitor performance of external legal vendors and manage relationships.
  • Research relevant laws pertaining to renewable energy projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a law firm, legal department, or legal operations setting.
  • Demonstrated interest in legal operations management and renewable energy law.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing document management systems and legal software.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Experience working with outside legal counsel and managing external vendors.
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology and contract law.
  • High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
