About the position

Constellation Brands is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Legal Operations Systems Manager to enhance legal procedures through technology solutions. This role involves managing critical technology systems within the Legal Department, providing support and training to staff, and collaborating with the IT team. The ideal candidate will operate independently in a dynamic environment, focusing on optimizing systems like Contract Lifecycle Management and Document Management, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all Legal Department technology systems as a product manager.
• Provide technical and non-technical support for users of the Legal Department technology systems.
• Oversee the configuration, administration, and continuous enhancements of the technology systems.
• Evaluate, test, deploy, and support technology solutions for efficient implementation.
• Develop and support documentation and training related to the technology systems.
• Enhance existing functionality of the technology systems and roll out new features.
• Support integration of technology systems with other enterprise systems.
• Ensure technical compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
• Monitor and maintain technology performance metrics.
• Identify emerging legal technologies for evaluation and assist with integrations.
• Manage external vendor relationships for Legal technology systems.
• Support ad hoc projects within the Legal Department.
• Stay knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, law, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a technology-focused role at a corporation or law firm.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and regulations.
• Experience in administering legal technology systems, including CLM and document management.
• Background in leading and implementing legal department technology solutions.
• Strong proficiency in training and guiding others on technology tools.
• Robust proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP, SAP Ariba, Concur, and Webex preferred.
• Experience with software engineering, including design and development, is a plus.
• Familiarity with product-centric methodology and Agile methodology is a plus.
• Ability to develop creative technical solutions for complex problems.
• Proven communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with e-signature and workflow automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Service Bar software.
