The role involves overseeing payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating closely with the HR team to provide excellent customer service to employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll and benefits administration, including developing, implementing, and monitoring the payroll system.
• Perform internal audit and control procedures to ensure accuracy of wages and taxes.
• Act as the subject matter expert for payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration.
• Collaborate with the HR team to deliver excellent customer service to employees.
• Oversee bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and processing corrections as needed.
• Provide detailed information and documentation of payroll-related issues and recommend solutions.
• Administer benefits, including preparing eligibility notices and assisting with new employee enrollment.
• Conduct new employee orientation and collaborate with HR on Open Enrollment activities.
• Ensure employees are informed of any changes to benefits plans and provide accurate enrollment information to providers.
• Assist employees with interpreting payroll laws, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization.
• Experience with ADP and Workforce is critical.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
