The Legal & Real Estate Project Coordinator position at Julie Alexander Law PC is designed for a professional, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to support a busy real estate law office. This part-time role involves providing assistance to one attorney and requires a candidate who is comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with other team members. The firm primarily serves real estate developers and operates in a tech-driven environment, emphasizing the importance of systems and organization in managing legal transactions. In this role, the coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative, legal, and real estate transactional duties. Key tasks include maintaining portions of the company's project management system, conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with project management. The coordinator will also interact with clients and third-party vendors, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout various projects. The position requires excellent organizational skills, as the coordinator will need to track and calendar tasks for completion, coordinate project components with various stakeholders such as architects, surveyors, lenders, title companies, and real estate agents. Additionally, the coordinator will manage correspondence, maintain digital files, and assist with day-to-day activities as needed. Responsibilities

  • Track and calendar tasks for completion
  • Coordinate components of projects with clients, architects, surveyors, lenders, title companies, insurance agents, real estate agents and other parties involved in projects
  • Research
  • Draft documents
  • Manage, compose and send emails and correspondence
  • Assist with company's project management system
  • Maintain digital files, records and other information as needed
  • Assist with day-to-day activities and perform other relevant duties as may be needed

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience as a transactional legal assistant, contract to close assistant, real estate assistant, title company assistant, mortgage or loan processing assistant, or other relevant law, real estate or business experience
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Skilled and accurate typing and data entry ability
  • Strong tech proficiency with web based applications (project management, electronic signatures)
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Excel)
  • Advanced Google Suite Skills (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of the English language, correct spelling, punctuation and usage
  • Ability to compose business and legal correspondence
