About the position

Cullen and Dykman LLP is seeking a full-time Legal Secretary to join its Construction Litigation Department in New York City. The role involves providing essential support to attorneys and staff, managing legal documents, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys and other staff as needed.
  • Correspond and communicate with clients.
  • Sort and maintain files and schedules.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing information related to a matter.
  • Prepare, format, revise, and finalize a variety of legal documents including correspondence, complaints, and motions.

Requirements

  • High School degree required; College degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to self-prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with superior organizational and computer skills.
  • Professional communication skills for internal and external clients.
