Responsibilities

  • Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Communicate with opposing attorney offices and take dictation as needed.
  • Notify the team about upcoming deadlines and assist in managing schedules.
  • Scan all incoming documents and open internal electronic files.
  • Use daily time records to properly process client billing with support from the accounting department.
  • Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM.
  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks.
  • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position.
  • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products.
