About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Manager within the Commercial Real Estate Homebuilder Operations in Wholesale Lending. This role involves managing a team responsible for loan processing, documentation, post-closing, loan monitoring, and servicing activities, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory policies. The manager will also engage with stakeholders, identify process improvements, and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage the activities of a Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan team.
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Lending Operations functional area.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines.
- Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies.
- Resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area.
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity.
- Collaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations.
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Operations and transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 2+ years of Leadership/Management experience.
