About the position

The Level 2 Maintenance Technician role at Riverstone Communities involves performing various property maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of mobile home parks. The technician will be responsible for plumbing, electrical work, groundskeeping, and completing work orders efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. This position offers opportunities for ongoing training and internal growth within a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, and diagnosing water leaks.
  • Conduct electrical work including replacing light fixtures, outlets, and understanding circuit breakers.
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the community by picking up trash and performing groundskeeping tasks like lawn mowing and planting flowers.
  • Complete clean outs of homes and finish work orders in a timely manner.
  • Read water meters for each home as applicable.
  • Conduct day-to-day duties with minimal supervision and adhere to safety laws and regulations.
  • Perform regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in online training classes to enhance skills.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping and property management maintenance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in basic residential painting (interior and exterior).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to learn and use technology in a basic capacity.
  • Valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
