About the position

As an Inspector Level 2 at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards that Honeywell is known for, and you will be accountable for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will help uphold the reputation of our company and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be working out of our Torrance, CA location and will report directly to the Quality Manager. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by conducting thorough inspections and tests. Your expertise in identifying defects and non-conformities will be vital in preventing faulty products from reaching the market. You will perform visual inspections and functional tests on products, document any defects or deviations from specifications, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and accurate inspections. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions, while maintaining inspection records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections and functional tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies
  • Certification in quality control or inspection
