About The Position

The Software Integration Engineer is responsible for developing software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment that supports an on-prem cloud offering using open-source software. This role emphasizes the importance of working in a containerized landlord/tenant environment and aims to enhance the efficiency of software deployment within a DevOps culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least eight (8) years of experience, or five (5) years of directly related work experience that can substitute for a degree.
• Experience with Linux CLI.
• Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python.
• General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Demonstrated experience administrating/monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet.
• In-depth experience with troubleshooting large Linux Clusters.
• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience using Git for version control.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications.
• Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
