About the position

We are seeking a Tier 3 Support Technician to provide high-level support for various IT environments, manage lower-level technicians, and interface with end users. This role involves troubleshooting technical problems, managing both wireless and wired networks, and overseeing server and desktop environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for high-level systems and manage lower-level technicians.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems in various IT environments.
  • Interface with end users and provide first-level management for other employees.
  • Manage wireless and wired networks as well as server/desktop environments.

Requirements

  • Fluency with Windows desktop/server environments.
  • Experience with VMWare virtualization, Microsoft 365 Cloud, and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO's, DNS, DHCP, and backup services.
  • Good understanding of the physical aspects of networking to troubleshoot end user connectivity issues.
  • Ability to design/create/distribute images to desktop computers.
  • Familiarity with next generation AV and Managed Detection & Response.
  • Ability to maintain proper work guidelines and company procedures when not under immediate supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Barracuda Products/Services, G-Suite, VMWare, and Dell Group Manager.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Solutions, and Smart Notebook.
  • K-12 experience is a plus.
