About the position

The Level II eVA Business Support Analyst is a key member of the eVA Business and Billing Customer Care Team, responsible for managing the accounting, invoicing, and collection of eVA fees. This role supports the Commonwealth's Electronic Procurement Program, facilitating electronic purchasing tools for state agencies and suppliers, ensuring effective management of purchasing resources, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate and timely accounting, invoicing, and collection of eVA fees.
  • Support requisitioning, ordering, and receiving activities for end users and professional buyers.
  • Assist suppliers in registering and responding to business opportunities through the eVA portal.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures in system functions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage escalated customer situations effectively.
  • Document user or system issues and escalate to appropriate support manager.

Requirements

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong data analysis skills related to collection and billing account management.
  • Ability to interpret procurement policy and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and billing procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in procurement and standard business practices.
  • Familiarity with Virginia Procurement system eVA.
