About the position

The Level II Security Officer at Pleasanton Theatre is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises through foot patrols, monitoring unlocked doors, and managing crowd control. This part-time role requires officers to complete daily activity and incident reports and utilize a security application for shift management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrol inside all four theatres.
• Check inside unlocked doors.
• Perform foot patrol in the parking lot area and manage crowd control as needed.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports as outlined in job site security procedures.
• Download and utilize the security application on a smartphone to accept shifts, clock in/out, scan checkpoints, and make reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving history.
• Possess a valid Level II Security License in the state of employment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to perform continuous physical movement/exertion as needed.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Working mobile cellular phone (Smartphone) with ability to download and utilize Security Application.
• 1 year of security experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
