About the position

Our busy firm is seeking an experienced architect to help bring clients' dreams to life! You will work with clients and project managers to ensure all considerations are integrated into the design. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working on residential construction projects and will use CAD skills to create detailed construction documents and oversee the build process to meet clients' quality and cost expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects
• Coordinates with Director and Department Head on design and technical delivery
• Furnish design proposals and construction documents containing technical drawings and specifications sufficient for construction and cost estimating
• Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Liaises with Project Management, other Architects and consultants
• Participates in conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project

Requirements

• Certification as a registered architect in the state of Missouri required
• Professional degree in Architecture plus 8 years minimum of related experience
• Excellent project management skills, as well as strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Required software proficiency: AutoDesk, Autocad, Trimple Sketchup, Revu Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
