About the position

The Level One Med Aide/Personal Care Attendant position is a part-time role focused on providing essential care and support to a client with cerebral palsy. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, transportation, and light housekeeping, primarily during weekends. The position requires specific certifications and a commitment to enhancing the client's quality of life through companionship and support.

Responsibilities

• Transfers using a hoyer lift
• Complete assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Transport client to doctor's appointments and community outings
• Light cleaning duties
• Help client cook meals

Requirements

• Valid Level One Med Tech certification
• Valid abuse and neglect certification
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Willingness to drive the client in their vehicle
• Must bring required documents to the interview including driver's license, social security card, voided check, and proof of education
