About the position

The Operations Coordinator position at LG Electronics / MarketSource is a vital role within the Home Appliances Experience Center, specifically focusing on the showroom and VR services. This position is designed for individuals who possess a blend of administrative and operational project coordination skills. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Program Management Team and the client to manage day-to-day operations associated with a field sales-based retail program. This role is essential in ensuring that all operational tasks are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the retail program. In this role, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that support the operations management team and the client. Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with both the operations management team and MarketSource field teams is crucial. The coordinator will also need to become proficient in using client reporting tools, which will enable the production of standardized and ad hoc reports required by the account management team. This includes collaborating with Business Analysts to create standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, as well as conducting daily audits of reports submitted by the field team to ensure data integrity. The position requires a proactive approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business systems and processes, along with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Additionally, the role demands strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a self-motivated and entrepreneurial attitude. Physical demands of the job include the ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving items, as well as assisting customers and maneuvering merchandise when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks associated with supporting operations management team and Client
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with operations management team as well as MarketSource field teams
  • Become proficient in the use of client reporting tools to enable the production of standardized and ad hoc reporting needed by account management team
  • Work with Business Analysts to create standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Conduct daily auditing of reports submitted by field team
  • Maintain location data integrity

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience in successful support roles
  • Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision (Self-starter)
  • Expert with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to produce summarized program performance reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of business systems, business processes, and client expectations
  • Proactive, self-motivated, an entrepreneurial 'can do' attitude
  • Working knowledge with the Internet and web based data collection and reporting
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
