About the position

The LG Home Entertainment Area Sales Manager is a full-time, non-exempt role focused on training, brand advocacy, assisted sales, and maintaining visual presence for LG products. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong passion for success, capable of educating consumers and sales associates about technology and making product recommendations. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, achieving sales quotas, and collaborating with clients to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently attain or exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Communicate with leadership regarding the status of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site data gathering to design and explain products and solutions.
  • Extrapolate information from data gathering sessions to formulate solutions for customers.
  • Present solutions and designs directly to end-user customers.
  • Provide product demonstrations to facilitate closing business.
  • Travel within the territory to assigned stores.
  • Develop and facilitate product education and training sessions for client sales channels.
  • Interact regularly with clients for training, education, sales, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with clients regarding promotions, performance, and education opportunities.
  • Communicate territory performance metrics, including lead generation and revenue attainment.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to maintain expertise in the product portfolio.
  • Attend client training events within the territory as needed.
  • Maintain fiscal control within company budget guidelines.
  • Support program leadership on special projects and related tasks.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with client and vendor field leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years minimum experience selling industry-related solutions to end-users and customer-facing retail sales.
  • Confidence engaging customers in a national retail environment.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience with consumer electronics and other consumer-based products.
  • Proven track record of attaining sales objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build relationships at the retail store level.
  • Professional image and approach to business.
  • Group training, demonstrating, or presentation experience.
  • Retail sales or retail management experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with web-enabled devices (smartphone or tablet) with iOS or Android.
  • Ability to self-train on client products.
  • Quick learner who is self-motivated.
  • Ability to analyze and read reports.
