About the position

Doyle Security Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers in Suffolk County, NY. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of premises and personnel through various monitoring and reporting tasks. Officers will work in shifts, primarily on weekends, and are expected to maintain a high level of vigilance and professionalism while performing their duties.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry as necessary.
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.
• Performing tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.
