About the position
Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a Liability Trial Attorney to represent commercial insureds in Central or Western Louisiana. This role involves preparing and trying moderate to high complexity Commercial Auto and General Liability cases, providing legal analysis, and conducting trials. Responsibilities
- Represent commercial insureds in moderate to high complexity Commercial Auto and General Liability cases.
- Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Handle pre-trial discovery and trial preparation.
- Aggressively manage hearings and trials.
- Conduct post-trial activities as necessary.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and 5+ years of litigation experience.
- Member of the Louisiana State Bar in good standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Experience with Lexis or Westlaw.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation.
