About The Position
The Elementary Library / Media Specialist will be responsible for teaching the appropriate grade-level curriculum as outlined by Three Forks Elementary School in collaboration with the Montana Educational Consortium. The successful candidate will utilize 21st-century educational pedagogy, developing effective lesson and unit plans with clearly defined learning targets and objectives. This role requires a detailed classroom management plan, safety procedures, and behavior expectations, with experience in MTSS being a plus. The candidate will work creatively and cooperatively, establishing positive relationships with colleagues and guardians of students. Participation in school and district professional development activities and meetings is required. Additionally, the specialist will support Special Education students by implementing IEP and 504 plans and assist teachers in effectively using educational technology to meet common core standards. Other duties may include designing instructional aids, assessing instructional effectiveness, developing educational materials, and integrating educational technologies into teaching methods.
