About the position

The License Compliance Sales Representative at Siemens is responsible for identifying, validating, and closing license compliance leads across North America. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including direct sales, legal, and technical specialists, to address compliance issues and ensure customer satisfaction. The representative will manage a high volume of compliance opportunities, engage in negotiations, and work towards meeting annual sales quotas while maintaining a strong understanding of Siemens products and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 75+ compliance opportunities towards closure.
  • Apply critical thinking to Siemens licensing rules for customer software deployments.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound calls on compliance targets.
  • Engage customers in a compliance self-audit process.
  • Present self-audit findings and set resolution timelines with customers.
  • Negotiate compliance deals with customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of Siemens products and industry trends.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with sales teams and partners.
  • Cross-sell or up-sell as appropriate.
  • Use SFDC to track leads, opportunities, and activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software Sales Support, License Compliance, Inside Sales, or Maintenance/Service Renewals.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce.com (SFDC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly proficient in computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Business Management or related degree.
  • Previous experience in License Compliance, Inside Sales, or Renewals.
  • Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements, and contracts.
  • Experience dealing with principles, owners, and executives in sales situations.
