About the position

The Licensed Behavioral Clinician or Therapist position at Life Strategies Counseling Inc., part of the Optum family, involves providing comprehensive mental health care to a diverse patient population. The role focuses on delivering individual and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This position is integral to the Optum Behavioral Care Team's mission to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods in a school setting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC) in the state of Arkansas.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years professional social work / clinical experience post Master's degree.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness.
