About the position
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Dekalb/Fulton is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals with severe mental illness. This role focuses on delivering community-based support, facilitating treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of life for clients. The clinician will engage in direct service delivery, crisis intervention, and case management, ensuring that clients receive the necessary resources and support to thrive in their communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services to clients in the community.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client eligibility and treatment requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and services for clients.
- Engage clients in therapeutic interventions and support their recovery process.
- Participate in crisis intervention and management as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Behavioral Health Clinician in the state of Georgia.
- Experience working with individuals with severe mental illness.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
