About the position
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician for Detox in Covington, GA is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals undergoing detoxification. This role focuses on assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support recovery. The clinician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and facilitate a safe and supportive environment for clients during their detox process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in their recovery process.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in case management and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health issues and recovery resources.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Behavioral Health Clinician in the state of Georgia.
- Experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
