About the position
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician in Supportive Housing is responsible for providing mental health services to individuals in supportive housing settings. This role focuses on assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote mental wellness and stability. The clinician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients, facilitating their integration into the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in case management and team meetings.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Behavioral Health Clinician in the state of Georgia.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, preferably in supportive housing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with trauma-informed care practices.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
