About the position
Shell Point is seeking a compassionate, licensed behavioral health clinician to provide individual counseling aimed at supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of residents. This role is integral to the behavioral health services offered at Shell Point, promoting overall cognitive and mental health among older adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to residents.
- Support the mental health and emotional well-being of residents.
- Promote overall cognitive and mental health through behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably with older adults.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with issues related to aging, dementia, grief, and family dynamics is preferred.
