About the position
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician position at Optum involves providing mental, behavioral, and psychological treatment services to patients. This role is integral to the Optum Behavioral Care Team, focusing on improving healthcare delivery through a holistic approach that addresses the physical, mental, and social needs of patients. Clinicians will work with individuals and groups, offering therapy both virtually and in-person, while also assisting patients in accessing community resources to enhance their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental, behavioral, and psychological treatment services or therapy directly to patients.
- Utilize a variety of treatment methodologies in individual or group settings.
- Conduct assessments or evaluations for mental health disorders.
- Develop, review, and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Assist patients and their families in changing behaviors and accessing resources.
- Provide community education and awareness regarding health and well-being.
- Consult with staff members and other healthcare professionals on methods to help patients overcome barriers.
Requirements
