Our client is seeking a licensed engineer to oversee the design of projects to ensure that they are completed to the standards required within the time schedule and to the agreed upon client/owner requirements. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of engineering principles to define, investigate, analyze, and solve complex problems. This role involves reviewing project proposals and budgets in collaboration with the principal and/or project manager, ensuring that all project deadlines and client expectations are met. The engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that client design standards are adhered to by the staff, facilitating the preparation and submission of drawings, specifications, statements of special inspections, and other submission requirements as mandated by the Building Code of New York State (BCNYS). Additionally, the engineer will maintain a workload of professional projects that align with client expectations. This position offers a salary starting at $80K, with the potential for significantly more for well-qualified candidates, along with a strong benefits package and a direct placement opportunity.
