Requirements

  • Must be securities and insurance registered (series 7 & 66 or 6 & 63 along with life, health insurance)
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Willingness to learn and understand Thrivent's products and services
  • Willingness to commute to office location

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial planning software such as MoneyGuidePro
  • Knowledge of brokerage, mutual fund, annuity, and insurance products

Responsibilities

  • Assists Financial representatives in the preparation and follow up for client/member meetings
  • Collaborates with advisors to assist clients with account/product changes
  • Handles incoming/outgoing client communication via phone, email, and text
  • Obtains customer financial information
  • Utilizes electronic and paper application systems for new account facilitation and servicing existing accounts
  • Supports advisor and client questions and transactions with brokerage, mutual fund, annuity, and insurance products
  • Processes incoming and outgoing transactions and trade requests
  • Provides fund/account values and answers product-related questions
  • Collaborates with the Director of Financial Planning and Operations to improve financial planning services
  • Prepares or coordinates routine correspondence, reports, and special projects
  • Explains insurance coverage and directs to home office support resources as necessary
