About the position
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide outpatient behavioral health services in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering various forms of psychotherapy. The position emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functioning and symptom resolution.
- Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
- Participate in program planning with the psychiatry team and other relevant team members.
- Evaluate ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients and determine treatment plans.
- Engage as a primary therapist or co-therapist in group therapy for psychiatric patients.
- Obtain pertinent data in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
- Uphold agency policies and ethical standards in practice.
- Collaborate with outpatient and inpatient teams for triage evaluation and crisis intervention.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field (Required).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
