Responsibilities

• Provide routine eye exams and contact lens fittings.
• Assist ophthalmologists in the care of patients with medical and surgical ophthalmic conditions.
• Collaborate with CHA ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide eye care for patients of all ages.
• Work at CHA Eye Center locations in Malden and Somerville.
• Maintain a commitment to serving a multicultural, underserved patient population.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state optometry license.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to serving diverse communities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a teaching environment or with academic affiliations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
