About the position
The Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) is responsible for managing a multi-site portfolio that includes homeowners associations (HOAs), condominium associations, and commercial associations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with governing documents and state statutes, managing financial activities, and maintaining communication with boards and residents. The LCAM acts as the direct client representative for the firm, adhering to high standards of professionalism and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of community associations.
- Ensure the implementation of the association's documents and operational strategies.
- Oversee all financial management activities including budget preparation and expense review.
- Participate in physical site inspections to assess properties and maintenance needs.
- Oversee association vendors and ensure quality service delivery.
- Communicate and report on operational strategies to boards.
- Issue directives and coordinate responsibilities with support staff.
- Provide recommendations to boards for capital improvements and supplies.
- Review association insurance requirements and secure necessary policies.
- Organize and conduct board and membership meetings.
- Assist association committees and organize workshops as required.
- Engage in targeted membership activities and maintain communication with residents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in the field or related area.
- Active Florida LCAM license.
- Working knowledge of applicable company policies and state licensing standards.
- Familiarity with Florida Statutes and association governing documents.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and Microsoft Office applications.
