To qualify for this position, you must hold a current dental hygienist license in Georgia and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. A solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation is essential. CPR certification is also required. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of clinical experience in a dental office and familiarity with tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. You should have a desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet the needs of your patients and maintain their dental health. Physical requirements include the ability to perform essential duties, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and the capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. You must also be available to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Georgia.

  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
